Welcome! I'm a scholar-teacher working at the intersection of Rhetoric/Composition and community engagement. I am an Assistant Professor in the Composition and Rhetoric program at University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

I work with high school-college writing collaboration programs like Husker Writers, and I teach graduate and undergraduate classes such as Rhetoric, Argument, and Society; Literacy and Community Issues; and Composition Theory and Practice with a focus on public rhetoric. I've worked as the lead facilitator for TEDxRillitoRiver and collaborate with the Nebraska Writing Project.

My research is focused on engaged pedagogies. My book, Rewriting Partnerships: Community Perspectives on Community-Based Learning, is available now.
